Jan Hereth

What motivated you the most to come to work at Grimm?
I have looked around for many companies in the area that offer student jobs. They all work in very conventional ways and have little interest in changing that currently. I got to know the Grimm company through the university. And when I talked to Julius for the first time, we had the same understanding of building processes for the future and of working - how it could look in the future.

What is special for you about working at Grimm?
What is special is that you are given goals and activities ... and how you then achieve the goal, is up to each person to decide. On the one hand, it's about how you get there, how you organise your working hours, and which colleagues have to be involved, for example. You always work in small sub-projects and departments, so to speak. You have to consider what's good and what's bad. But these are precisely the things you can try out at Grimm. And everything that's good is directly incorporated into the existing operation - as far as it's immediately possible, of course. That's definitely exciting. In other words, you're basically doing a kind of research. Nevertheless, it has value. So it's not just some work that is then stored in a drawer. But the result of the research also contributes to the overall progress of the company.

How long have you been working at Grimm and what are your responsibilities?
I've been a student trainee at Grimm for 5 months now and I'm studying project management, which means I have quite varied tasks. On the one hand, planning and modelling designs for visualisation for clients. I also visualise the landscape using a drone. We have tested and implemented the process in a completely novel way in the meantime.

First impressions count

Dass der erste Eindruck zählt ist bekannt. Ob sich dieser im Nachgang bestätigt, erzählt uns Noah.

The first impression counts. And fortunately, we were able to score with Tatjana.

But how it all came about is best told by architect Tatjana Matejka herself. We are happy to welcome you in the team.
