What motivated you to start working at Grimm and not elsewhere?: Grimm is a construction company from my neighbouring town that I have known for many years. During a lecture, the company was mentioned several times. Since I knew Julius personally, I had the idea of joining the company as a student trainee.

What is unique about working at Grimm for you?: The easygoing working environment, the innovative spirit. You have the feeling that you are helping to develop something new in the industry.

How long have you been working at Grimm and what exactly do you do as an cost estimator at Grimm?: I started as a working student at Grimm in March of 2020. From October of 2020 until the end of January of 2021, I wrote my bachelor's thesis at the company, after which I was also hired and am now a permanent employee. In addition to creating 3D BIM models, I support Julius and Matthias in developing the BIM strategy.

From concrete mixer driver on construction sites to intern in the office.

Jan first worked as a concrete mixer on our construction sites. In the meantime, he finds himself in the office as a trainee in the area of shell construction management.
